Robert Mapplethorpe’s work is so interesting to me. I really enjoy how emotional a lot of his work is, especially when the images are black and white. I also really like how much intention he has with what he creates. Almost all of his photographs make me feel a lot of emotion, which is what I think makes an incredibly good artist. I also admire his dedication to his art because of how controversial his art was at the time. To me, his work really stands out among lots of artists, and his work is some of the most interesting work I’ve learned about.
